Our Mission Statement
Christ the King Lutheran Church is a
community of believers who are
called, gathered, enlightened,
and sactified by the Holy Spirit.
By the grace of God, we:
Receive the mercy of God in Jesus Christ,
rained upon us in Word and Sacrament,
Delight and Immerse in this mercy, and
Pour Out mercy through our lives as Jesus taught.
Our Vision Statement
Awakened to a vision inspired by the Holy Spirit, we are called to fulfill a ministry of welcome, worship, responsibility, support, education, and discipleship:
We will provide a welcoming environment that engages all people in experiencing God’s love.
We will offer quality worship experiences of Word and sacrament that will uplift, inspire, and strengthen one another to walk by faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
We will listen for God’s call and respond faithfully with the gifts he has given us for leadership and service.
We will minister to our community of faith with the Gospel through encouragement and support, recognizing the diverse needs of individuals and families.
We will present educational opportunities for growth in faith through the study of the Holy Scriptures so that the power of God’s Word comes alive in our daily lives.
We will follow Christ’s example, actively sharing his love throughout our church, our community, and our world.
